Advance booking of Shah Rukh Khan starrer upcoming film 'Pathan' has not started yet. Nevertheless, the film is getting a tremendous response at the ticket window. In fact, seeing the excitement of Shah Rukh Khan's fans, e-commerce website Book My Show has started advance booking at some places a day in advance i.e. from January 19. The special thing is that as soon as the ticket window opens, it is reaching the stage of fast filling. The film has earned crores of rupees in just a few minutes.
According to the news of an English entertainment and trade tracker website, 18 thousand tickets of 'Pathan' have been sold in Hyderabad within just 2 hours. According to the reports, the craze of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone among the fans is so much that the film has earned around Rs 3.68 crores in a few hours from the advance booking. This advance booking of the film has been done for its IMAX and 4DX formats as well as for 2D formats.
SRK's second biggest opener
On the other hand, considering the advance booking of the film, its opening day collection is also being estimated. It is being told that 'Pathan' can prove to be the second biggest opening film of Shahrukh Khan till date. If reports are to be believed, the film is seen collecting Rs 39-41 crore on the first day.
If we compare it with the previous films of Shah Rukh Khan, then it is beating all the films except 'Happy New Year'. 'Happy New Year' collected around Rs 44.97 crore on the first day. So far, Chennai Express is at number two in this list, which earned Rs 33.12 crore on the first day.
The film will be released on January 25
Pathan is an action film directed by Siddharth Anand, releasing on January 25. After 'Zero' released in 2018, Shah Rukh Khan is returning as a lead actor on the big screen after almost 4 years with this film. Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia also play important roles in the film.
